About Bullet Since childhood, Timothy Kump (aka Bullet) has always been an artist. Drawing came naturally to Tim as his interest in art had him sketching the Disney characters and then original characters that he created. From drawing, he moved onto creating oil and acrylic realism paintings through high school. After high school Tim continued pursuing a career in art at Joliet Junior College, where he received an Associates in Art degree. As he was preparing to transfer to finish his BFA degree, Tim discovered the graphic arts and decided to complete his degree in Communication Design at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Following positions as a designer at NYC design firms and Connoisseur Magazine, Tim relocated to Chicago where he started Bullet Communications, Inc., his strategic marketing and creative communications business. Tim's graphic design work has won over 50 awards for excellence and has been published in over 80 international books and magazines. As Tim's design skills improved, so did his passion for photography. In 2008, Tim created Bullet Fine Art to showcase his unique fusion of art, design and photography. For

| Artist's
Statement
Bullet Fine Art is the forum I use to present my art and photography work. My fine art work expresses a unique creative vision which embodies original, bold, colorful and textural compositions. Many of the images presented here were originally used on CityofJoliet.com to showcase the artistry that can be found throughout our community. Whatever creative discipline
I start with, whether it's the human artistic skill of drawing My fine art works are executed using a process called Giclee (pronounced "zhee-clay"), a French word that means 'fine spray'. Giclee is a sophisticated inkjet printing method that merges the use of professional quality large format printers with museum quality, archival pigmented inks, archival papers and canvas. This process ensures that my creative vision is executed without compromise. |
