The P. Seth Magosky
Museum of Victorian Life & Joliet History is dedicated to showcasing
the victorian period as well as preserving Joliet history.
Housed
in the Hiram B. Scutt mansion built circa 1882, the museum conducts tours
and is available for private events.

Patrick
Seth Magosky
was an Architectural Historian who specialized in Joliet architecture
and history. He lived in the Hiram B. Scutt Mansion until his untimely
death in 2007. His vast antique collection was used to furnish the mansion.
